Popis: | In order to improve the visual quality to a best possible level for target recognition in turbid water such as river and lake, based on previous works, Maximum a posteriori (MAP) regularization based super-resolution restoration techniques using suitable point spread function (PSF) as prior knowledge are applied for a laser diode (LD) based imaging system operating in turbid water. Objective image quality metrics are used to evaluate the effectiveness of image enhancement and determine the iteration time of the proposed algorithm. Experimental results prove that the proposed method can effectively improve the resolution and quality for LD based imaging in turbid lake water, which shows potential of LD based imaging for detecting objects embedded in turbid media, such as murky water, lake water, river water, and sea water in various applications. |
