| Popis: | The paper is devoted to the efficiency of using project method while teaching a foreign language in non-linguistic higher education institutions. The author examines the requirements to the application of project method and a project’s characteristics which determine the success and efficiency of project method use. Having proved its efficiency long time ago, project method is still very topical and popular nowadays, as this method contributes to forming of communicative competence as the main language learning aim, allows of effective and successful fulfillment of the subject programme and achievement of the set objectives and goals, as well as it contributes to realizing of competence approach in the system of higher professional education, increases students’ motivation to foreign languages learning, and develops cognitive interest. |
