Popis: | The article deals with the aspects of testing modern gas-diesel internal combustion engines. The concept of a new diagnostic method has been proposed and an automated experimental setup has been developed for research and testing of tractor internal combustion engines (ICE), which has wide functionality due to the expansion of the ICE test potential in the “gas diesel” mode and the study of factors affecting the magnitude and stability of the injection of the optimized value “ignition” dose of diesel fuel, which increases the reliability of the thermal process of fuel combustion, taking into account the individual characteristics of each ICE. The proposed automated system allows to change the fuel supply and ignition timing depending on the assessment of the energy characteristics (Wobbe number) and methane number of natural gas by measuring the physical characteristics of the gas mixture by the additivity of its composition by measuring the content of each component in natural gas. |
