Popis: | The article is dedicated to the image of Alexander Blok, created in fiction and non-fiction texts of Boris Pasternak (“Ochrannaya gramota”, “Doctor Zhivago”, “Veter”, etc). Blok is interpreted as both symbolist and realist, because, according to Pasternak, he doesn’t devise his own symbols, but discovers them in the real world. As a result, along with Verlaine, Verhaeren and Rilke, Blok catches metaphysical sense of the turn of the century epoch and anticipates future historical cataclysms. As a whole, in his perception of Blok’s artistic world Pasternak highlights those traits that influenced him at various stages of his creative development, in particular Blok’s vitality of images, autobiographical poetics, impressionism as a way to capture the existence in its continuous formation, inner latitude of a creator. |
