Popis: | International audience; The New Kingdom elite society is often seen as a monolithic part of the Pharaonic State. Yet, within it, the clergy of Amun grew increasingly more powerful up until the advent of the 21st Dynasty, and its annexation of the Theban region. Economical and political reasons taking root in the 20th Dynasty have long been presented as the only justification for this splitting of the Egyptian power. However, Social Network Analysis, especially studying social structures, helps to demonstrate that premises of this situation already immediately emerged after the collapse of the Amarnian kingship. |
