Popis: The Danish Partnership for Wave Power was established in 2011 under the project "New strategy for wave power through industrial partnership" [1] funded by the Danish Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Program. The core of this partnership is nine active Danish wave energy developers seconded by offshore industry, and research institutions. The Danish Partnership for Wave Power has further been consolidated through the follow-on Roadmap project described in this paper. The roadmap project has in detail investigated how the four most common technology areas for wave power developers can be realized through series of research and test activities. The four common technology areas are:• Anchor systems• PTO systems• Electrical transmission to the seabed• Materials and componentsThe purpose of drafting the roadmaps is to engage the developers as well as the funding authorities in the process of coordinating and focus the research, development and test activities. The aim is that the resources (financial and know-how) are used appropriately and with the greatest possible progress. Within each of the 4 areas, the starting point is based on the state of the art technology, and the roadmaps outline what activities (research, development and test) are necessary to achieve the desired level of technology i.e. in 2020. The Roadmaps can thus be used to prioritize and coordinate technology development projects.
