Popis: The impact of IT on the environment is divided into three orders: 1. green of IT, 2. green by IT, and 3. the green paradigm shift leading to green behavior and new technologies. Gesi identified that the effect of green by IT is about seven times larger than the greening of IT itself. Therefore we focus on green business processes (primary, operational management and governance processes). In the primary and auxiliary processes travelling can be substituted by online technologies: teleworking in many organizations and online or blended learning in institutions of higher education.
