| Popis: | The author makes a detailed analysis of the legal contents of the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of all Migrant workers and their Families, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations in the Resolution 45/158 of December 1990. The objectives of the Convention, the personal spehere of application, the Human Rights of all migrant workers and their families wether they be regular of iregular are presented throughout the article. Finally, the practical effectiveness of the Convention is analyzed concluding with the importance of its ratification by the largest number of States possible. La autora realiza un minucioso análisis del contenido jurídico de la Convención Internacional sobre la Protección de los Derechos de todos los Trabajadores Migrantes y sus Familias, adoptado por la Asamblea General de Naciones Unidas mediante la Resolución 45/158, de 18 de diciembre de 1990. A lo largo del artículo se presentan los objetivos del Convenio, la delimitación del ámbito personal de aplicación, los Derechos humanos de todos los trabajadores migrantes y de sus familias, sean documentados o no documentados. Finalmente se analiza la eficacia práctica del Convenio concluyendo sobre la importancia de que éste sea ratificado por el mayor número de Estados. |
