Popis: | This paper studies the constraining and enabling effects of institutional logics entrepreneurship in the Finnish space sector in relation to rules, regulations, ideas and practices hindering or stimulating entrepreneurship in Finland. Interviews with representatives of the Finnish space actors were conducted. Five prevailing logics were identified: the infrastructure and established company logic, the company capability logic, the geo-return logic, as well as the government sector logic and the venture and business development logic. The Finnish space sector structure is detailed and presented. Together, these logics or patterns characterize the semi-governmental logic of the Finnish space sector. Space actors adhere to these patterns to earn legitimacy for support and resources, each actor faced with affected more or less by these patterns. This study adds to our understanding in the consequences of policies and contributes to the design of new space policies and programmes. |
