Popis: | Officina Barezzi http://officinabarezzi.cab.unipd.it/officinabarezzi/ is a website created by the University of Padova in which parallel corpora made of literary texts are hosted. Texts have been tagged to be consulted for lexical and translation analysis. Among them, we can find Cesare Beccaria's treatise On Crime andPunishment together with its first two translations into Spanish: the first one by Juan Antonio de las Casas (1774) and the second one by Juan Rivera (1821). The present paper will describe, on the one hand, the different steps in the building of the whole project and, on the other, the range of feasible analyses offered to researchers interested both in Translation Studies and in the History of Translation through the presentation of some examples of the methods and procedures employed by the twotranslators of Beccaria. |
