Popis: | Shunt active filters play an essential role in harmonic elimination as well as reactive power compensation in the power systems with alarge concentration of non-linear loads. The methods required to control active power filters determined the active power filter performance. In this paper, we propose an adaptive PI control of the supply voltage of shunt active filter. The adaptive controller has possessed the gains which guides the functioning of PI controller aredynamically adjusted with the assistance of fuzzy control depending on the value of the error. In order to investigate the performance of this method of control, all of the studies have been accomplished using simulation with the MATLAB Simulink Power System Toolbox. Theresults of simulation study of new SAPF control technique presented in this paper are found quite satisfactory by assuring good filteringcharacteristics, high system stability. |
