In this paper, solutions to the mathematical models in Part I of this title are derived. Appropriate flow period delineation methods are discussed. Results show that as an enlarged reservoir, flow attains pseudosteady state at late times when reservoir dimensionless pressure is inversely proportional to the reservoir dimensionless external lengths and directly proportional to dimensionless flow time. Furthermore, only superposition in time can be used to account for complete dimensionless pressure history. Finally, flow periods delineation makes it possible for individual layer dimensionless pressures to be quantified and therefore permits individual layer characterization.Journal of the Nigerian Association of Mathematical Physics, Volume 15 (November, 2009), pp 197 - 204 |
