| Popis: | According to only a few published cases, thymus tissue is an extremly rare component of ovarian teratoma. Nevertheless, its existence confronts two important theories-histogenetic theory of teratoma as tuimor of primordial germ cell capable to differentiate into germ cell layers and ontogenetic theory of thymus development, in which prothymocytes necessarily pass via fetal liver or bone marrow before they settle the primordial thymus. |
