An increased incidence of cervical invasive primary adenocarcinoma has been noted. The malignat potential was determined by assesing the ploidy status, proliferative activity and c-myc expression separately in normal, dysplastic and malignant endocervical cells from 49 patients. Statistics showed a significant association between dysplastic and malignant cells in ploidy status, proliferative activity and c-myc oncogene expression. |
