This manuscript enlists Indian research laboratories that are equipped with sophisticated instrumental facilities to cater the needs of Indian geoscientific community for high precision metal isotopic and geochronologic measurements. This status report of 2020–2024 includes research outcomes of these facilities in India that are aggressively producing high quality isotopic and geochronologic data for improving our understanding about the Earth and its geologic processes. In this report, key publications and research findings are presented, based on data produced exclusively in Indian laboratories. There has been a huge jump in research activities and high impact publications that incorporates high precision metal isotopic composition and geochronologic applications during the past 4 years. This has been possible through generous funding from government agencies to bolster cutting-edge research by the Indian geoscientific communities. |
