Cerium oxide nanoparticles (CeO2-NPs) improve growth parameters and antioxidant defense system in Moldavian Balm (Dracocephalum moldavicaL.) under salinity stress

Abstrakt: •Salinity, a common abiotic stress, exhibits adverse impacts on physiological and morphological characterizations of plants; hence nanotechnology as a novel method in modern agriculture can be used to lessen the negative impacts.•Improved performance of Moldavian balm under non salinity and salinity stress indicates the remarkable effect of Cerium nanoparticles (CeO2NPs) application.•CeO2NPs especially at 50 mg L−1alleviated the destructive impacts of imposed salinity.
