To the Editor:—Dr. Bloodgood's letter in the June 7 issue of The Journal is of especial interest to me. For one year, from September, 1921, to September, 1922, I conducted a series of experiments on the roentgen-ray treatment of root abscesses. The results were so good that they were gathered together and published under my name in the Dental Cosmos, November, 1922. In that article I described the technic used and the results. The method was tried in about fifty cases. At that time I suggested experimentation along similar lines by other men with the hope that a real cure for dental abscesses might be found.I am glad to see Dr. Bloodgood's letter and welcome his suggestion for other reports on this subject. |
