Abstrakt: Endovascular revascularization may prevent recurrent cerebral ischemia or limit the extent of cerebral infarction, depending on the context in which it is used. Other endovascular techniques, such as stenting, also hold promise as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of cerebrovascular ischemia.
