| Abstrakt: | A method for reducing specular reflectance from metallic surfaces in which ammonium chloride is used as a fuming reagent is described. This method has the advantage of being easily controlled, and is rapid. The deposit of ammonium chloride salt on the metallic surface is easily and effectively removed by washing. |
