The following case forms part of an investigation on elastic tissue in skin. A tentative diagnosis of cutis laxa, lipodystrophy of the skin or acrodermatitis chronica atrophicans has been made. A review of current literature on all these conditions showed some confusion in nomenclature and description, and pending further study we are submitting this case for diagnosis.REPORT OF A CASEHistory.—A farmer, aged 40, was admitted to the Winnipeg General Hospital for treatment of a cardiorenal complaint on Jan. 29, 1930; two weeks later he was transferred to the Hospital of the Department for Soldiers' Civil Re-establishment. He had a long history of convalescence in military hospitals both in England and in Canada, for complaints arising while on duty in France.
