Semiempirical model of impact interaction of a disperse impurity particle with a surface in a gas suspension flow

Abstrakt: A mathematical model describing the dynamics of impact of a spherical particle on a solid surface is proposed and investigated. In closing the model, use is made of the experimental mean statistical values of the coefficients of restitution of the components of the velocity vector of the center of mass of the particle normal and tangential to the surface. The model permitts a physically correct description of particle rotation upon impact and determination of its angular rotational velocity.
