| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses a method for the combined determination of the atmospheric concentration of radium A and the amount of “latent energy.” It is shown that these quantities characterize with a fair degree of completeness the severity of the hazard associated with the presence in air of short-lived decay products of radon. The method described makes it possible to determine the above quantities in 15 min with an accuracy which is sufficient for practical purposes. |
