Conclusions 1.The nature of the isomerization of buténes on sodium, nickel, cobalt, and rhodium zeolites of type X and Y does not have any significant differences.2.The activity of the type Y zeolites obtained is greater than the activities of the corresponding type X zeolites, depends upon the composition of the ion introduced, and decreases in the series Ni > Co >Na (it is the same for type X and Y zeolites).3.With increasing degree of replacement of the sodium ion by a doubly charged ion, the yield of butenes passes through a maximum, and the reaction temperature decreases.4.The ratio of isomeric butenes in the gas mixture varies little with the temperature. |
