Conclusions 1.The indices of refraction of the compounds NaHCO4 · H2O and KHCO4 were determined, indicating that the crystals of the two compounds belong to a lower symmetry group.2.The densities were determined and the refractions of the molecules of NaHCO4 ·H2O and KHCO4 and the anion HCO4- were calculated.3.Values were obtained for the interplane distances in crystals of NaHCO4 ·H2O and KHCO4. |
