Abstrakt: 1.Of the methods described above for the automation of beam balances each has its advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, in selecting a method and a schematic it is necessary to take into account the specific requirements, since for given balances certain characteristics may be more important. For instance, high precision is obtained if a large weighing time can be tolerated, on the other hand the most important factor may consist of a minimum weighing time for a large permissible error, or else a combination of the two parameters. A weighing schematic can be selected by means of Table 1.2.A promising automation method is attained by using digital automatic compensators of the mechanical moment, since they meet most of the requirements specified for automatic balances.3.The basic theoretical propositions for digital automatic compensators of electrical quantities (voltage, current, and resistance) can be applied by analogy for designing digital automatic compensators of the mechanical moment.
