Abstrakt:	2-Alkoxy-6-aryloxytetrahydropyrans and a number of new 2,6-diaryloxytetrahydropyrans have been synthesized by the reaction of 2-aryloxy-3,4-dihydropyrans with ethanol, propargyl alcohol, phenol, p-cresol, and p-chlorophenol. The nature of the substituants present in the benzene ring of the aryloxydihydropyrans (CH3, Cl, OCH3) has a fundamental influence on the yield of these mixed acetals.
