Abstrakt: 1.Raising the cobalt content of annealed Ti-Co and Ti-Co-Al alloys is accompanied by an increase of the ultimate strength and lowering of the ductility.2.The effect of martensitic hardening with quenching from temperatures above the critical temperature is evident in alloys with 2–4% Co.3.The increase in strength during aging is greatest for alloys containing 4–9% Co.4.Raising the cobalt concentration and adding aluminum are accompanied by an increase of the short-term strength at 450 and 550°C.
