| Abstrakt: | In this article, the author discusses issues of ethics of patenting inventions relating to human embryonic stem cells (hESCs), and how these patenting issues affects uses of human embryos for industrial or commercial purposes. Topics discussed include patentability of biotechnological inventions in the European Union (EU) is adopted by the European Patent Office (EPO), and patent applications should be reviewed carefully to try to identify patentable subject matter. |
