The article discusses a study on the occurrence in commercial layer chicken in Namakkal Zone, India of oviduct abnormalities. Methodology include vaccination of flocks from poultry farms in Namakkal area against infectious bronchitis, fowl fox and Marek's disease then were examined for pathological changes. Results revealed Newcastle disease affecting 27.23% of oviduct abnormalities in chicken while in 321 birds false layer or hydrosalpinx was recorded along with increased egg peritonitis. |
