| Abstrakt: | The article reports that the San Diego Convention Center Corp.'s operators, along with local hotels and resorts which host corporate events, expect a growth in the economy to be boosted by various events in 2014. The convention center is scheduled to host about 111 events in 2014, according to the center's officials in its issued annual forecast. The forecast shows $1.4 billion revenue and drawing more than 850,000 attendees, which was the highest since 2008. |
