Abstrakt:	The article discusses the 19th annual National Instruments Graphical System Design Conference that was held at Austin Texas Convention Center, Texas in 2013. Several topics including automation based test systems, software developments techniques and embedded systems were discussed during the conference. An opening speech was delivered by National Instruments' president James Truchard focusing on the evolution of instrumentation.
