Abstrakt: The article describes the case of a 37-year-old woman with multiple cerebral infarcts and recurrent seizures that was referred due to progressive reduction in vision, and became diagnosed with Type I Takayasu arteritis. Improvement in vision is cited to have been noted after angioplasty and stenting was performed to the right subclavian and common carotid arteries, and to the left subclavian and left internal carotid arteries. However, vision in the left eye is presented to have remained poor.
