The article discusses issues related to environmental protection in the Pasvik-Inari Trilateral Park which is located on the north-western edge of taiga, in the area where Finland, Norway and Russia converge. It mentions a project aimed at uniting the protected areas under a common name and establish a formal framework for the management of the common area despite national borders. It also cites the problems related to the cooperation such as the different legislation and levels of protection. |
