Abstrakt: The article proposes a four-strand research agenda offering a vision for research in community college mathematics education that connects to American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges' (AMATYC) strategic plan. The ways in which mathematics education may inform the work of community college mathematics teachers is discussed. It also discusses the need for a research agenda while also promoting a call to action for impacting mathematics teaching and learning.
