Abstrakt: The article reports on the role of indigenous Australians on the plight of asylum seekers. One of the most disadvantaged and oppressed group of people worldwide, these indigenous Australians are in the best position to understand those who seek asylum in their country. They are similarly displaced, have lost family or have been separated from them. Asylum seekers survive as beggars and live in communities without income, healthcare or jobs.
