| Abstrakt: | Information on the depiction of the Greek legendary character of Ganymede in art is presented. Ganymede has been depicted often as an expression for homosexuality in art. The homoerotic depiction of Ganymede flourished in works of famous artists such as Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, Giulio Romano and Parmigianino. |
