Abstrakt: The article discusses a study which examined seroprevalence of human papillomavirus (HPV) 6, 11, 16 and 18 and associated risk factors in men in the U.S., Mexico and Brazil. Logistic regression was used in assessing potential risk factors for individual HPV types. Results showed that seroprevalence for HPV 6, 11, 16 and 18 was 14.8%, 17.3%, 11.2% and 5.8%. The study also found that 31.2% of men who had sex with women and 59.4% of men who had sex with both men and women were seropositive to one or more types of HPV.
