The article describes the vulnerability to gender stereotyping of work among senior level women athletic administrators in the National Collegiate Athletics Administration (NCAA). It discusses the components that explain the responsibilities and criteria at the senior associate athletic director level which includes insider responsibilities, insider criteria and insider types. It concludes that women leaders are expected to gain experience inside the huddle of athletic administration to move from the senior associate level to the athletic director role. |
