The article profiles American clarinetist Anthony M. Gigliotti. He has been a leader of the clarinet section of The Philadelphia Orchestra, wherein he upholds the highest standards of artistic excellence within his section for 47 years in the U.S. According to clarinetist and teacher William Chen, Gigliotti is not only a perfectionist clarinet teacher and musician, but he has inspired his students and affected their philosophy of teaching. |
