Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the court case R. v Inglis which involved the application of Criminal Justice Act 2003 Sch.21. The appellant was charged with attempted murder and murder while her son underwent surgery after obtaining head injuries in an accident when he was being taken to the hospital. The appellant eventually admitted that she injected her a son with a fatal dose of heroin. The judge dismissed the issue of provocation from the jury due to lack of evidence that the appellant was suffering from a lack of self-control at the time. |
