Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on the historical significance of the city stone wall of Seoul located in South Korea. It states that the wall is more than 600 years old wherein the wall was declared to be off limits to civilians after being infiltrated by North Korean spies in 1968. It mentions that a complete repair and restoration of the wall were ordered by King Sejong in 1422 and that several parts of the wall were demolished in 1898 and 1899 to build a street car lines for modernization. |
