Abstrakt: The article discusses a study on the use of intravitreal ranibizumab to treat choroidal neovascularization in a patient with persistent placoid maculopathy. The study involved a 60-year-old man who was suffering from bilateral persistent placoid maculopathy that was complicated by a choroidal neovascular membrane. It was found that there was an improvement in visual acuity after injecting intravitreal ranibizumab.
