Abstrakt: The article focuses on Monk Parakeets, otherwise known as Myiopsitta monachus, and its nesting attempts in Oklahoma. It characterizes Monk Parakeets, which was first observed in Norman, Oklahoma in 1972, as the species that can survive in extreme climates with a varied diet and can adapt to urban and suburban habitats. It also relates the attempt to find them after their nests were gone and highlights the contribution of their unique nesting in establishing their self-sustaining population.
