The article discusses the development of biotechnology in Canada, as well as the business opportunities it creates in the capital markets. It notes that Canada has a number of programs that facilitate research and development, and provide access to capital for the biotechnology industry such as government sponsored primary research and Canadian universities. It concludes that Canada provides a favorable environment for early stage biotechnology and health care companies. |
