The article reports on the State Advocacy Workgroup (SAW) program of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) in the U.S. chaired by Chrisann Lemery. It states that the primary goal of the program is to educate, inform, motivate AHIMA members to enhance their ability on advocacy at both national and state level. An overview of SAW's objectives and its active courses is also offered. |
