The article offers information on the project undertaken by the Producers Guild of America (PGA) and the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) in testing seven digital cameras, including Arri's D-21, Panavision Inc.'s Genesis and AJHPX3700 from Panasonic Corp. in the U.S. David Stump of ASC's Camera Subcommittee said that the project is designed to provide cinematographers an educational resource. The testing include image quality, dynamic range and ergonomics and contrast. |
