This article discusses the roots of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian people. It contends that long before the media reported about the activities of Hamas militants in Gaza Strip which led to the military campaign by Israel, Israel has already made the life of Palestinians difficult. It describes the plight of Palestinians in Gaza Strip struggling to survive Israeli army offensive. It points out that Palestinian grievances, such as Israel's confiscation of their lands and their non-citizen status in Israel, are the roots of the conflict. |
