Abstrakt: The article focuses on reducing the incidence of mycotoxins in corn. Mycotoxins are toxic metabolic by-products of fungi. Aflatoxin is produced by the fungus Aspergillus flavus. This toxin has been considered to be the most serious problem in North and South Caroilna in recent years. The maximum concentration of aflatoxin in corn for interstate trade is mentioned. Fumonisins are produced by the fungus Fusarium moniliforme and are common in corn produced in North and South Carolina.
