| Abstrakt: | The article presents a study which examines the teaching strategies that facilitate breast cancer screening in African-American women. The strategies include storytelling, social support networks, and breast health information. It also poses the barriers of cancer screening in women which include emotional and spiritual reasons, lack of knowledge, and fatalism. |
