The author, winner of the Society of Garden Designers (SGD) competition to design a garden for the 2008 Gardens of Gothenburg Festival in Sweden, describes the process of design and construction. She discusses her experiences as a participant in a competition to design a garden for the Liseberg Amusement Park, one of the sites taking part in the 2006 Gardens of Gothenburg exhibition. She notes the concept and elements of her "White Valley" and the other gardens completed for the 2006 festival. |
